Parking Policy

Ensuring Space for Birthing Families and Emergencies

At Tulsa Birth Center, we are dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable environment for families during one of the most important moments of their lives. We understand that parking can sometimes be a challenge in a busy area, but it’s essential that our lot remains available for the birthing families and emergency vehicles that may need immediate access to our facility.

Why Parking is Reserved

Our birth center operates 24/7 to accommodate laboring families, and in many cases, timing is critical. Keeping our parking spaces open ensures that we can provide uninterrupted care for those in labor, as well as allow ambulances and other emergency vehicles to reach us if necessary. Unlike other businesses with predictable hours, births don’t follow a schedule—and neither do the families who need to park here.

Who Can Park Here

Parking in our lot is reserved exclusively for:

  • Families currently in labor who are arriving at the center.
  • Clients visiting for prenatal and postpartum appointments.
  • Emergency personnel and vehicles responding to a medical situation.

We kindly ask others to refrain from using our lot, as even short-term parking can prevent a family in need from getting the help they require quickly.

For Our Friends Visiting the White Lion Pub

We are glad to be good neighbors to the White Lion Pub, and we hope you enjoy your visit there! While our parking lot is necessarily reserved for birthing families, there is street parking available on both sides of Canton Ave just a short walk from the pub. We have spoken to the management, who understand the situation and may have additional parking recommendations. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to ensure safe and quick access for our birthing families.

What Happens if You Park Here Without Permission?

Because it is crucial that our lot remains accessible, we partner with a towing service to enforce this policy. Vehicles parked without authorization are subject to towing without notice. Please understand that this policy is not meant to be punitive, but to ensure the safety and accessibility of our services.

Understanding Our Mission

We hope that everyone can appreciate the importance of keeping these spaces available. As a birth center, we are dedicated to the well-being of families, and having access to our facility is a vital part of that mission. By respecting our parking policy, you are helping to support that mission too.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

What to Do if Your Car Has Been Towed

If you return to find that your car has been towed, we understand that this can be a frustrating situation. Please know that towing is only enforced when unauthorized vehicles are parked in our lot, as we need to ensure immediate, round-the-clock access for birthing families and emergency vehicles.

To retrieve your vehicle, please contact:
